Plans for the New Year in 2020!
Happy New Year! We want to wish you a year full of good health, delicious food and countless hours spent outdoors enjoying beautiful nature in the good company of those you love.
As we transition into the new year and a new decade, we are very excited for all that lies ahead for Mountain Road! Watch the video that goes along with this blog post here! We are doing some restructuring to help you find the content that interests you most. You may have seen our tags LIVE, PLAY, BLOOM, THRIVE. They’re even on our new t-shirts! LIVE translates to home life, including cooking. PLAY is all about fitness, travel and adventure. BLOOM covers gardening topics. And THRIVE means finding a good balance in life, between work and play, as well as gaining financial freedom. With our YouTube channel, we have drawn a heavy crowd from cycling, so we are going to focus our current channel on the topics of PLAY & THRIVE. Here, Wiehan will bring a lot of content revolving around road cycling, triathlon and the hot new topic of gravel cycling. Christin’s topics on natural and sustainable health & wellness draw a different kind of crowd, so to make her cooking, gardening and lifestyle videos easier to find, she’s creating a separate channel called Mountain Road Life, focusing on LIVE & BLOOM. We are also creating two separate Instagram accounts. For cycling and triathlon, follow @mtnroadride; and for cooking and gardening, follow our original account: @mtnroadlife. All content, including blog posts, from both Wiehan and Christin will continue to be housed on our website. Our Facebook page will also share dual content. We hope that separating out our content on YouTube and Instagram will help make things easier to find.
